| silverpaw waited beside the clearing for her mentor, goldenstar. she couldnt believe she was being mentored by a leader! she wondered if she had enouph skill to be mentored by goldenstar.

| she waved her tial back and forth, but when goldenstar didnt show up, she dicided to do a bit of hunting. she ventured a little ways into the forest, before she saw a massive rabbit hopping lazily around. |

| it wasnt her mentor, it was a vole. she got it and burried it with her rabbit, then she ran down to the lake to take a swim. she tumbled into the water and rolled around joyfully. she loved to swim. most of the time cats wondered why she could, but she really didnt care what they thought.

| suddenly she got the urge to swim lots. so she swam out to the middle of the lake. she was getting tired and hungry so she caught a fish then and there.

| then she swam back to shore. she collapsed there egsausted and feeling good because she loved to swim. she lay down where small waves could wash over her paws and went to sleep.

| she woke up and saw that silverpelt covered the sky. she sighed. she padded through the forest and finnaly reached the clearing again. she sniffed. goldenstar hadnt been here during the day. leaders are just too busy to worry about apprentices i guess. thought silverpaw.
