Goldenstar stood on the ledge and summoned all of Thunder Clan for an apprentanceship meeting, "Silverkit come forward." The funny thing about this apprentanceship meeting was that Silverkit was the only one up there. No other cts were there. The clan grew silent. "I have decided to mentor Silverkit myself."
The ceremony finaly ended. "Silverpaw! Silverpaw! Silverpaw!" The clan shouted.

silverpaw touched noses with her leader then ran around camp exitedly. this was great! a leader as her mentor!

silverpaw went to sleep in the apprentices den that night, happy with how she was settleing in with thunderclan. she couldnt sleep, so she walked out of den and climbed her favorite tree. she thought about how her friend muzzlekit was still in the nursury, while she had moved onto apprenticeship. she wished they were apprentices together.

Goldenstar jumped into a tree. "Oh, Silverkit, I mean Silverpaw... what are you doing u here? Can't sleep either?"

NO! she mewed exitedly. i cant believe you are my mentor!

"Beat you to the top!" Goldenstar started to run around camp, trying to confuse Silverpaw." Find out to the top of what! You must consuntrate on your surondings." Every time Goldenstar ran around camp, she got closer and closer to the giant rock.

silverpaw looked around. then she saw the pattern her leader was running in and pelted toward the rock. she scrambled up.

"Yes! You did it! That is how you work on your stratagey, and thinking skills.

silverpaws eyes lit up, and she jumped off the rock and ran around again. being a leaders apprentice was the best thing that ever happened to her, and with a leader like goldenstar, it made things even better.

"I know it is really late, but wanna go out and train?" Goldenstar was talking and acting like a kit. She knew how she was acting, foolish, but yet she felt a conection with the apprentance. A specail connection.

ya! silverpaw yelled. id love to!

"Theeeeeeeen, lets go!"Goldenstar was out of the camp in a flash. She ran up a tree and she fell down. She did not get up. She layed there, waiting.

silverpaw sniffed and saw that goldenstar wasnt really hurt. she pounced on her soft belly and pummeled it with her front paws.

Goldenstar still lay still. Then she flipped over and pinned Silverpaw and went running. "I feel so young and alive! It is strange, the way I feel around you, it is almost as if we were..."Goldenstar stopped in her tracks.

silverpaw skidded to a halt behind her. " whats wrong"? she asked.
