Brightstar walked into the leader's den of thunderclan. "Have you seen Wishkit? I thought she came here becasue she was mad Silverwing left." she meowed.

Silverwing had seen brightstar enter camp and followed her. "Wishkit? She's missing? I havnt seen her!"

"Oh no..." Brightstarr mewed.

Goldenstar walked in the camp entrance. "Brightstar! I found her scent! Please come help!" She ran and called for the others. "Silverwing, you come with us, go tell another queen to watch over the kits."

"OK." Brightsnow, watch my kits. Silverwing whipped around and followed goldenstar and brightstar.

Brightstar fallowed the sent untill she got to the lake. "Wishkit, Wishkit are you here?" Brightstar yowled so loud even Riverclan could hear. There was no response. "Oh great now all of my kits are gone!" she wailed. Brightstar fell on the ground and burried her muzzel in her paws as she cried her eyes out.

Silverwing blinked. She couldnt get over that her sight was still blured. She was usually gentle in times like this, but she knew she couldnt be right now. "Brighstar pull yourself together!" silverwing hissed. "Crying wont help wishkit be found!"

"YEah, and what if I find her dead too?" she hissed right back. Brightstar lept onto a tree. She scanned the area and looked shocked. "Oh my Starclan..." Her voice became shaky and she started to woble. The branch starrted to crack as she walked closer to the edge, as if somthing was controlling her.

Brighstar? silverwing climbed onto the tree and grabbed brighstars scruff, but she kept walking, and silverwing was begining to slip too.

The brance craked and Brightstar fell hard. She got up and ran to a thorn bush. Wishkit was tangled in it, a thorn in her throut. "W-Wishkit?" Brightstar worked at getting Wishkit out and when she did, Wishkit didn't speek. "Oh Wishkit no!"

Silverwing lay her tail on the little kits chest, the breathing was very faint, and troubled. "Stay here!" Silverwing ordered to brightstar. "Lick her throught!" silverwing sped off through the trees to the abandoned twoleg place. She picked coltsfoot and marigold, then ran back. She tore the coltsfoot leaves into little pieces, then put them in the kits mouth. Silverwing knew she should be panicing, but she had to stay calm for the sake of wishkit. "Eat please wishkit! Please try!"

Wishkit was lossing blood from her neck and she couldn't chew. Wishkit fell limp and stopped breathing. Brightstar gazed at her dead kit.

Silverwing couldnt stay calm anymore, she thumped onto her side, and tears poured from her eyes. "I cant believe it!" she howled. "Starclan how could you!?!?"

"Is this what happens when I am a leader? Was I not the right cat to be a leader? Heck Wishkit would make a better leader! Someone just kill me here and NOW." Brightstar hissed. Tears were rolling down her face like a waterfall.

Silverwing took a gasping breath. "Brightstar, thats just it. You were a perfect leader. Untill you had too many kits to take care of. Starclan knew that they would be happier in starclan, thats all.
