Flowerpaw was walking around the camp, it was her first day out of the nursery, as a medicine cat apprentice that is. She couldn't wait to start looking for herbs and healing cats. But she was kind of nervous too. "Hello?" Flowerpaw meowed as she walked into the medicine cat's den, then she saw Thunderclan's medicine cat, "Hi, I'm your new apprentice."

Spiderleg heard Flowerpaw walk in and turned to face her. "I know, and I am very proud." She meowed. "I always knew that you would become my apprentice."

"Thanks, so when can we start collect herbs and all that?"mewed Flowerpaw excitedly.

Spiderleg smiled and meowed, "You're quick to learning. That's one way I knew you'd become a medicine cat one day was because of your quickness to learning." she paused for a couple of heartbeats and meowed, "We'll start off by letting you look at the herbs and learning what they all do. You won't learn them all in one day, but we'll try to do this as much as possible, going over the herbs."

"Okay! So what do these herbs do?"mewed Flowerpaw curiously but excitedly.

"This is a dried oak leaf." Spiderleg meowed as she pointed the leaf with her muzzle. "It's used to stop infections."

OOC: I already have the herbs in a book so you don't need to go through all of them.

"Okay."Flowerpaw mewed.

After Spiderleg went through each and every herb, she asked the new apprentice, "Do you want to go with me out of camp? I am almost out of coltsfoot and I am going to get some more."

"Of course!" but then she stood up straight and maturely meowed "Yes."

"Then off we go!" Spiderleg meowed with a nod. She lead the way into the trees. "It might be a while. I know where Coltsfoot always grows, but we'll have to walk a distance."

Flowerpaw followed Spiderleg across the camp and into the trees. After a while she realized that coltsfoot was far away from camp. Then Spiderleg stopped, Flowerpaw wondered why, but then she smelled the herb, "Coltsfoot!" Flowerpaw meowed.

"Yes, you're right." Spiderleg mewed. She grabbed some of the coltsfoot with her mouth and turn toward Flowerpaw. She nodded, indicating to lead on back to the camp.

Flowerpaw bounded away, with Spiderleg one foxtail behind her. They returned to the camp and Flowerpaw couldn't wait to actually start healing cats.

Featherpaw saw the two go in the den with Stuff in there mouths. She decided to check on her friend, Flowerpaw. She walks to the enterance of the den and meowed, "Hi Flowerpaw. How do you like being medicine cat apprentice?"

Flowerpaw put the coltsfoot down and mewed, "It's great! I can't wait until I travel to the moonpool!" she turned to Spiderleg and mewed, "When do we travel to the moonpool Spiderleg?"
