silverpaw was padding to the moonpool. she needed to talk to starclan about her and darkpaw. it wasnt fair that they were in different clans, and now she didnt know if she could go on living apart from him.

Firepaw was hunting when he saw silverpaw."hey silverpaw whats going on."He could tell something was going on with silverpaw.

oh nothing. silverpaw began to worry. would the apprentice follow her all the way to the moonpool?

Muzzlekit showed up behind him hey she meow to Silverpaw i think sh wan'ts to be alone.

silverpaw glanced at her friend thankfully and hoped fireheart hadnt taken offence.

oh sorry not to be mean i'll hunt with you if you wan't to make up to you,Fireheart!

seeing that firepaw was distracted, silverpaw bounded away toward the moonpool again.

when she reached the pool, she lapped up the water and was plunged into a dream. Scourge came to her. "you are capable of powerful things silverpaw. he mewed. listen to me, and you can control the forest" silverpaw was horrified. "never!" she shouted. and suddenly she was plunged into a sparkling valley under a beautiful sky. this was where starclan walked. suddenly a voice came on the wind. it was her dead fathers voice. it said in a mystifying way, "trouble is coming silverpaw, what are you going to do about it?"

silverpaw woke up gasping for air. trouble was coming. she was the one that had to stop it. she got up and pelted with amazing speed away from the territory. she was going to her favorite thinking spot among the hills where she could run and swim in the deep streams. it was her favorite place to go.

then Muzzlekit sat there in silence bord.Hopeing Silverpaw would be back soon.
she wanted to hunt.

silverpaw rolled onto her back and stared up at the stars. her dad had really talked to her. could she really stop the trouble that was coming? and what about tigerstar? would he still bother her to try and get her to take over? well she wouldnt try to take control, that was for sure.

silverpaw realized how late it was. it was almost moonhigh and the clan could be worrying about her. but she didnt care. she flopped down in a clump of clover and went to sleep.

when she woke up it was dawn. she yawned and went for a swim in the river. she planned on spending a couple more days out here to get away from her troubles. then she realized how much her leg hurt and she remembered about how the twoleg nest colapsed and left her leg crippled for life. she hadnt given up on training though.

suddenly windtial, her fathers voice wisped around her again. remember the profesy........ go home. it said myseriously. and the wind engulfed her and swarmed around her so it pulled her all the way back to the moonpool. there it stopped and it said, go home.

so silverpaw shot through the woods all the way back to thunderclan. not untill she was there did she think she was safe.
