Brightpaw nodded. "Is it true we can go up trees to hide?" she asked.

"Well, since we're WindClan cats, we shouldn't use the trees to hunt. What we do is chase our prey. It helps keep us fast and felled with dexterity." Blackclaw meowed. Then Tornfur meowed. "We'll more than likely not use the trees to hide either. Most of the time it isn't useful. The only time we really should is if a fox or badger is chasing us and we're out numbered or we really can't fight them off."

Brightpaw nodded. "What's dexterity?"

Blackclaw thought for a few seconds for a definition. After he got one he replied, "Dexterity is a skill we have to move really fast. It's just another word for agility."

"Oh... Ok." she mewed. "Can we go to the moonpool?" Brightpaw asked.

"Umm, I am not to sure we should. We'd have to go through the medicine cat's. Usually they don't like us to go there without them knowing for some reason." Blackclaw meowed. "It might have to do with StarClan."

Brightpaw looked confused. She had herd stories about Starclan, but she didn't really know what Starclan was. "What is Starclan?" Brightpaw asked.

The wind had changed yet again. The bunch of cats on the other side of the stream could pick out no more than the slightest sent of another cat. A Wind Clan cat had been hiding behinde a boulder in the middle of the stream. At hearing the silly question 'What is Star Clan' she gave an anoyed hiss. She had never heard of an apprentince that had never heard of Star Clan. Or atleast not in Wind Clan. All Wind Clan kits try to escape the nursery just once to hear bits and bits of the elders conversation. That was how they learned about Star Clan. They got tired of sitting around and they joined in and started asking questions.She flatened herself to the rock at noticing she had done something so stupid as hiss when she was hiding from other cats. She couldnt hold on much longer. She thought she was going to fall soon. She was probaly the most water hating cat in all the clans. Her tail dipping into the stream, she gave an even louder hiss. Then, flatened as far as she could go, all she could do was wait and see if she was noticed.

Nightpaw pricked her ears, she hadn't been paying attention to her friends discussion and had thought she had heard a hiss from the stream. " Did you guys hear that?" mewed Nightpaw.

"What?" Brightpaw turned to Nightpaw.

Blackclaw was surprised about the question. "What do they do to you in that nursery?! Feed you dung?" He sighed. "Sorry about that, but I am just shocked. StarClan is the heaven that we go to when we die." He was then interrupted by the hiss. He didn't say anything. He kept quiet.

Brightpaw nodded. She herd a hiss as well. She lashed her tail and zipped around a rock and spalshed in the water. "Goldenkit (am I right?)! What are you doing here?" Brightpaw hissed.

AAAAHHH! Well there goes my position. None of your buisness! Your stepping on my tail and you got me all wet. Goldenkit, finally lost her balance. She fell in the river. She was very lucky. Every one said she was lucky. She had gotten saved and was put down on dry ground. 'THANK YOU! I thought I was -......" She was cut short. She looked up and saw a thunder clan cat staring down at her. Her expression not angry, nor sad, nor , well she was expressionless. Then another Thunder clan cat came. What are you doing here? WIND CLAN! Is that 'Wind Clan' I smell on that kit? uh.... Then the strange cat pushed her into the river once again. The freezing water brought her to shock. She fell unconsoious and went under the water.

Brightpaw looked at the Thunderclan warriors. "Back off!" she snarled. she jumped at one of the cats and slashed it's eye. "Why are you on OUR terrortory?" she hissed, barring her teeth.

Nightpaw raced to her friend's side, knowing that their mentors were seconds behind, dived into the stream to find the unconscious kit. She nearly passed the small bundle but she still found it and dragged it to the surface and ran to a nearby bush to safely deposit the bundle. She decided to get back to the camp and get the kit to the Medicine Cat.
