silverpaw was about to call out to muzzlepaw to come back, but she needed to talk to darkpaw alone. " lets go to a cave near our borders." she suggested.

Darkpaw was already feelig drowsey. right when he got in the cave he fainted.

silverpaw saw darkpaw faint and went over to lick him gently. she knew he was exausted, with all the dreams and restless nights. she wished she could help him. she lay down close beside him and kept licking.

There he was again watching the horror as his own brother was ready to kill him. '' stop, why are you doing this. why are you huanting me."

silverpaw saw how much distress he was in, and again she picked up his dreams. she new that he must be scared, so she curled herself around him, and murmured in his ear, darkpaw wake up! your a strong cat! i know you can pull through! just wake up!

" Because you are weak and dont diserve to continue on with your pathetic life." His brother meowed back feriously. But then an image appeared. It was his future mentor. " your wrong he deserves to live." his mentor meowed back with a hostile glare

darkpaw's dream flashed through silverpaws head. she wondered how deadly darkpaws brother really was.

His mentor and and his brother misttail had fought before his brother fled with a group of rouges.

she knew at this point darkpaw was deep in dreams. she couldnt wake him. so she just fell asleep and entered his dreams.

Later his brother was closing in on the cave they were in ready to strike.

silverpaw pricked her ears, thinking that she had herd pawsteps. she sniffed the air and picked up an odd scent, one that didnt belong to any clans.

darkpaw ammediantly woke up once he smelled his brothers scent. "run.'' he mewed

silverpaw sped out of the cave with darkpaw right beside her.
