back in the nursury, an image of darkkit burned in her brain. She couldnt get over the imotions she felt when she was around the young shadowclan cat. How could she do this!? A riverclan mother, a dead shadowclan father, and now a love in shadowclan? How could she be so mousebrained? But still, she couldnt get over the cat.

she batted the ground frustratedly. her claws unsheathed. and worst of all, she hadnt told wildkit yet. they were supposed to share everything with eachother!

silverkit looked up. thanks wildkit but im not hungry. she watched the silver tip of her tail go back and forth. then she burried her head under her paws and tail.

but then she looked up. she usually ate fresh kill but now she was in the mood for milk. she crawled over to brightsnow and suckled. the milk tasted warm and good.

she looked up and licked brightsnow's face. she was glad the queen was so kind. silverkits mother was of riverclan so she couldnt suckle from her own mom.

darkkit had snuck out of camp and was past thunderclan borders. he needed to talk to silverkit

silverkit wondered where darkkit was. she left camp to go looking.

finally he had found her. "hey, silverkit we need to talk." darkkit meowed happily

ya? um ok. just as long as a patrol doesnt catch us. lets hide somewhere.

"mabye theirs a cave we can hide in." he meowed back

ok. just as long as it hides our scent. if it does, it could be our regular meeting place!
