darkkit ran back to camp and got inm the nursery and immediantly fell asleep

silverkit looked back over her shoulder and knew she couldnt go on without darkkit being her friend. but how could that happen when they were in rival clans?

Mossstar looked and thought he saw Darkkit and Silverkit leave, he knew they must have been talking to eachother. *Well I dont have any proof, Ill just have to ask Darkkit myself, and ask the other cats if they have seen anything* Mossstar thought.

darkkit knew there leader was near so he ran farthere in the woods waiting for mosspaw to show himself.

"Darkkit, stop running around like a mouse and tell me why you were talking to a ThunderClan cat, are you not loyal to your clan?" Mossstar meowed sternly.

darkkit spurted off toward camp. * Im loyal to my clan but not going to tell you personal information* he thought

silverkit knew that someone had been watching them back there. hopefully it wasnt mossstar. she gave a short prayer to starclan for darkkits saftey

Darkkit got some sleep that night but had a nughtmere about his family. When he woke up ever kit in the nursery was staring at him. " What, what are you all staring at." he meowed

silverkit rolled around in the nursury that night. she had nightmares about her father being killed. but then an image of darkkit came into her head, and she knew he was feeling pain too. she knew she loved the darkkit. but how could love work out between two rival clans? it seemed practicly impossible. like taking her mother and father for instance. her riverclan mother and windclan father had loved each other dearly. then her father had been killed by a shadowclan cat. but she knew she couldnt stay away from darkkit. whatever the cost.

Images of his family and his brother burned in his mind that night. " you are weak little brother. get out of my way or your next.'' his brother growled. every day the images got worse and worse. longer and longer. until on night he barley woke up.

the images of darkkit in pain kept getting worse, so one day silverkit ventured into shadowclan territory. she searched franticly for darkkit. if mossstar caught her here, this would be the end of her meetings with darkkit.

darkkit couldnt wake up. everytime he tried he heard his brother chasing after him, yelling. ready to kill him.

silverkit finnaly snuck into the nursury. only darkkit was in there so she covered him with frantic licks. wake up! she murmered worriedly. just wake up! come on! you can pull through! i know you can!
