Running Away

"I wanted to see Goldenkit she's my best friend and I was telling her that I'm going to be born soon so bleh!"She said all snooty then made a face!

"I am not a kit... and you really have to go NOW! I will miss you... see you some other time." Goldenpaw went up and gave a reluctant lick between the ears. Mabey brownkit would leave now. Goldenpaw padded back over to Icefur.

Icefur busted the moss and and ran down yet another path.

Goldenpaw pelted with him. She wasn't going to leave his side... atleast not for a while.

Icefur turned to look at Goldenpaw. "Were should we go?" he meowed.

"I don't know, that is the problem... Oh, wait! Isn't there a huge chunk of land not owned by any Clan if you keep going on, like the mountains! Isn't there some land and mountains north of WindClan?" Goldenpaw knew that Icefur, and her, would have to escape soon.

Icefur skided to a stop. " We could live in the Horseplace barn." he meowed.

"That would work." Goldenpaw meowed as she shook her head form side to side.

"Let's go then!" Icefur meowed. He raced to the Horse place

Goldenpaw followed Icefur. "So,wanna start making the nests? I could go hunt,"

"I will make the two nests, and you will hunt." he meowed. Icefur flicked his tail at a hidden place behind the hay. "There."

"Ok, lets make this work." Goldenpaw left to go hunt. She felt a new energy rush threw her. She came back with a vole and 2 mice. "2 mice would equal to a plump vole, don't you think?"

Icefur nodded. "We will start a prey pile over there." he pointed to a small hole in the ground.

Goldenpaw put down the prey and just stood there. The tip of each hair were just barely touching Icefurs, but she just stood there, embarrassed and she had no clue what to say, or do.

Icefur then meowed, "You need a warrior name." He lept to a huge pile of hay. "Goldenpaw, you have worked hard today. I will give you your warrior name. Goldenpaw, you will now be know as Goldenheart. A trushed med. cat of-" Icefur stopped.

Goldenpaw just looked around. She knew why Icefur had stopped there. "We WERE once, weren't we? We still are, just all, well, gone."

Icefur sighed. "I know but... Goldenheart Windclan dosn't have a med. cat!"

Silverwing burst into the horseplace. She spotted goldenpaw and icefur and yowled, why did you run away??? Brightstar sent me to look for you and i found you! please go home!

Icefur lept onto Silverwing and lifted his paw with his claws out "I WILL blind you if you say a word about this to anyone! We love eachother and that will never change!" he hissed

Silverpaw didnt fight back. "I wont tell them where you are, or that you love each other, but STARCLAN know." she mewed. "And your clan need you! Think about them! Think about all you've done for them, and then you just leave? When you chose the path of a medicine cat everyone thought you MEANT it. Think about your clan, the whole forest!" silverpaw mewed, a plea entering her eyes. "Think about yourselves." she whispered.

Icefur sighed. "When I chose to become the med. cat... I didn't know what I was thinking."

Silverwing stared at him with an intense blue gaze. "Of course you knew." Your clan needs you and your letting them down! She said fiercly. "The whole forest needs you. Your clan cant see signs from starclan, and they cant heal, and other clans medicine cats need to take care of their own clans! "so what do you say? will you come back?"

Icefur shook his head. "Never!"

Silverwing unsheathed her claws. But she wouldnt fight a medicine cat. Im sorry to hear that icefur. She mewed. and she whisked around and padded slowly out of the barn with her head down.
