The warrior ceremony

Goldenstar jumped up on highledge. "May all cats old enough to catch thier own prey gather here under highledge for a Clan meeting!" Goldenstar was still upset and was messing everything up. She stumbled, but got right back up. "Silverpaw, come forward." Goldenpaws meow got stronger and steadyer, making herself confident that this one would live, not like her mate, or other two kits. The meeting ended with a bunch of 'SILVERWING! SILVERWING! SILVERWING! SIVERWING!' "Congrats baby, I am so proud of you, as yur mentor, your mother, and Clan leader. You said you would make me pround andd you did." Goldenstar stared at her little warrior, almost crying with pride.

All the light and laughter and love returned to silverwings eyes at her mothers praise. she licked her mothers shoulder and said, I'll do my best to serve the clan as a warrior.

Silverwing scented a familiar scent. She looked at goldenstar and said, "i have to go" she went to the bushes and saw darkheart. "You kept your promise!" "You really came!"

" when i said it i ment it." he mewed

She pressed close to his side. Want to go for a run? I know a good place just outside of thunderclan territory.

" sure, id love to." he mewed

Silverwing slipped out from under the bush and motioned with her tail for Darkheart to follow. She finnaly emerged out from the forest to an open moorland dotted with trees and ponds and streams. She started running.

Silverwing watched darkheart catch up. They ran side by side untill the reached a river. Silverwing stepped forward and took a drink.

darkheart had a drink and a mouse before he left so he waited

Silverpaw stepped back from the river and said, maybe we should be going home. We ran far and we'd be lucky to get back by sundown.

She started walking back beside darkheart. She didnt want to run because the time with him would be over too quick. Are there any kits that your hoping to mentor? Maybe dawnkit or shadekit? she asked.

Silverwings eyes gleamed. "Oh dawnkit will definately keep you busy!"

" i know." he mewed

When they reached the edge of the trees silverwing licked darkheart across the ears. "Thanks again for coming to my warriors cerimony." She mewed. "It means alot to me."

" hey you came to mine." he mewed then licked her ear.

She pressed her muzzle to his and slipped off into the trees. "Goodbye!" she called over her shoulder before she disappeared into the ferns.

" bye." he mewed then set off for shadowclan

She slipped into camp and went to find goldenstar.

she padded up to her and asked, when will bramblekit be apprenticed? He's so adventerous and curious, i would just love to mentor him!

Goldenstar turned around and looked at Silverwing, all pride gone. "Did you have a good time with Darkheart? It is ok, I won't be mad." Goldenstar smiled and started to clean Darkheart's scent off her daughter. "Be Careful." Whispered goldenstar.

"I will." silverwing whispered. "I know where my loyalties lay." But then she spoke up. "Can i mentor bluekit? she's been a kit for longer than usual, and I like her.
